The Jesse Tree, from Isaiah 11:1 is a biblical symbol of an “advent tree”. It is the inspiration for our Blesie Tree of perpetual giving.
After losing a family member to cancer, the Blesie family decided to help those who are receiving treatment and have need. By paying it forward with little things, we can show we are not alone and that through helping, giving and receiving we can reach a better place.
We invite you to share with a staff member if there is an opportunity to extend help to a patient or family member in need.
If you would like to contribute to The Blesie Tree to help perpetuate this work, please contact us. Your generosity will be appreciated.
The first annual Blesie Tree Walk was held September 14, 2013 at Noelridge Park in Cedar Rapids to raise money for The Ghosh Center’s Blesie Tree Fund. Each year, the walk has grown, giving us the opportunity to reach more patients and family members.
We invite you to participate in the walks and help support this great cause!
