Our fourth annual Blesie Tree Walk is just four weeks away. And since everybody loves an event t-shirt, sign up now to so you’ll be sure to rock yours in the right size.

Here’s the scoop on the what, when, where, how, and why of the walk.


The Blesie Tree Walk is a one-mile family fun walk that raises funds to help cancer patients with everyday needs. The walk is open to everyone – even your favorite pooch – and includes a selection of breakfast food and beverages.

The event will include a silent auction and a new, special drawing for patients or caregivers guaranteed to lift their spirits.

Purchase Blesie Tree-branded items (pens, koozies or notepads) for a chance to be entered into a drawing. Prizes include:

  • First prize:
    • “Night on the Town” package containing four front row tickets to the Holiday Spectacular at the Paramount Theatre
    • $150 gift certificate to Cobble Hill Restaurant
    • $100 Visa gift card
  • Second prize:
    • $250 gift certificate to the New Pioneer Co-op
  • Third prize:
    • Fitbit Charge activity tracker ($100 value)

When you participate in the walk, you pay kindness forward to people with cancer in Linn County. The Blesie Tree Foundation helps patients with the little things, from groceries and gas to memory-making gifts. Since it began three years ago, The Blesie Tree has benefited over 200 area families.
