When patients come first, they live longer, fuller lives. Our five-year survival rate for patients with metastatic cancer is nearly five times greater than the national rate. See the data and learn what the gift of more time means to the people we care for.

Joni Tharp

Joni TharpI have over 35 years of experience as a medical technologist. My job entails collecting patients’ samples and performing the appropriate laboratory tests in order to provide information for diagnosis and treatment monitoring.

I am board-certified with The American Society of Clinical Pathologists. My bachelor’s degree is in medical technology with a minor in chemistry from Mount Mercy College.

I enjoy working at The Ghosh Center because I believe in the philosophy and practice of putting the patient first. It’s an honor to be an integral part of the Ghosh team of professionals.

Away from the clinic, I spend quality time with my family, grandchildren and dogs.  My family includes one son, two grandchildren and two English springer spaniels. I also enjoy attending concerts and classic car shows and camping and motorcycle riding with my fiancé.
