When patients come first, they live longer, fuller lives. Our five-year survival rate for patients with metastatic cancer is nearly five times greater than the national rate. See the data and learn what the gift of more time means to the people we care for.

LaNette Faaborg

LaNette FaaborgI started working with Dr. Ghosh in 1993. Prior to that, I worked on the inpatient oncology unit and in hospice care. I am an oncology certified nurse, as well as a certified breast care nurse. I received my nursing degree from St Luke’s Hospital in 1982.

The foundation of The Ghosh Center was set in 2002 through hard work, dedication and determination when Dr. Ghosh started Iowa Blood and Cancer Care. Our small staff all shared the same belief of doing what was right and good for our patients. Doing whatever it takes to put patients first and provide the best care of the whole person is why we are here. I feel proud of what we stand for and what we are doing independently!

I enjoy time with family and love being a grandma! I also like reading, going to the gym and football season.
