HIPAA
HIPAA is the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996. It protects your privacy when it comes to medical records.
Questions and Complaints: If you want more information about our privacy practices or have questions or concerns, we encourage you to contact us.
If you think we may have violated your privacy rights, or you disagree with a decision we made about access to your medical information, we encourage you to speak or write to our Privacy Officer. You also may file a written complaint with the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services at the Office for Civil Rights’ Region IV office.
We will provide the mailing address at your request. We will take no retaliatory action against you if you make any complaints, whether to us or to the Department of Health and Human Services. We support your right to the privacy of your health information.
